Almost all of the bulbs I purchased from Best Buy were product #s around 1.16 and old firmware. Issue 1) I purchased some bulbs from and some from Best Buy. This might not apply to everyone, but I have had the same errors as other people in this thread, and here was how I went about fixing them: I own ~40 LIFX bulbs now, and it’s been a journey getting them all setup over the last week. Really starting to wonder if I made a wrong choice going with LIFX bulbs instead of the others. I’ve tried this on the Samsung galaxy S6 marshmellow, my samsung note 10.1 Jellybean and samsung gs4 jellybean it will not connect to any of them. The strange thing is I have other bulbs that I was able to do on the 1st try last december, the router went bad and now I have the same exact router and running into these issues. I brought them back home, reset the bulbs and they still won’t connect. I took the bulbs to my mom’s home and it was able to update, I was never able to connect them to her network though. My security is WPA2/Personal, network mode “mixed” aka auto so it’s not on N or G only. My router Linksys EA6350 AC1200+ Dual-Band Smart Wi-Fi Wireless Router I then purchase 2 new bulbs directly from lifx that I received today and I’m still running into the same issue or the bulbs “all color” not connecting. Hello guys, I’ve been waiting to hear back from support for about 2 weeks now on 2 bulbs that I couldn’t get working.
